Winget lets you download and install some programs from a centralized repository of programs rather than needing to track down an installer manually. Winget is a package manager introduced in Windows 10. best way to update PowerShell is through the command line, using winget. Clicking on it will download the full Dev Home preview. Looks like (a stub of) Dev Home is included (inbox?) starting with build 23486. You can see the full process in his video. However, as PhantomOcean3 spotted, currently the app's shortcut resides in the app list, and not in the Windows Tools folder. So, in forthcoming Insider Previews, the stub may be replaced with a full-fledged package. Starting with this build, Dev Home is now an inbox app. Microsoft has updated the change log for the Dev channel build 23486, so it now clearly states that Dev Home is now an inbox app. After that, the Dev Home apps starts normally. The window that opens says that the app needs to get an update, and downloads the software in the background. It will install on demand once you click its shortcut in the Start menu. However, in the latest Dev channel build the company ships a stub package instead of the full app. Microsoft is going to bundle it with the OS.
